Who You Talk To

You talk to an independent local roofing provider. That is a roofing business in our network. It is not Combatraw Roofing.

We stay out of the way after the introduction. The provider answers your questions, looks at your roof, and writes your quote.

What Happens on the First Call

Expect a short chat. The provider will ask simple things:

• Where is the roof problem?
• How old is the roof?
• Do you see leaks, missing shingles, or stains inside?
• Did a storm cause it?

Have a few photos ready if you can. They help a lot. Many providers can respond quickly, but timing varies. Request a callback to check provider availability near you.

What to Ask a Provider

First-timers often do not know what to ask. Here is a short list:

• Can I have the quote in writing?
• What does the price include? Tear-off, new underlayment (the layer under the shingles), cleanup?
• What material do you suggest, and why?
• What if you find rotted wood under the old roof? How is that priced?
• Do you hold a license and insurance? Can I see proof?
• How long will the job take?
• Is there a written warranty on the work?

If the answer is vague, ask again. A clear provider gives clear answers.

Urgent Roof Problems

Sometimes a roof cannot wait. A tree limb falls. A storm tears off shingles. Water comes in. Ask about emergency roof repair when you talk to the provider. Some will place a temporary cover first, then plan the full fix. Availability varies, so ask what is possible.

You Are in Control

You choose. You can get more than one quote. You can say no. You can take a day to think.

Be careful with anyone who rushes you to sign. Pressure is a warning sign. A fair quote will still be fair tomorrow.

Costs vary by job. Compare the written quotes line by line, not just the bottom number.
